August 06, 2011 (Vienna, VA) - Lanmark Technology Inc. was recognized with the Outstanding Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business Award by the National Association of Professional Asian-American Women at an awards ceremony at the Kennedy Center on August 06, 2011.
“I am honored to receive this award on behalf of the LMT team members, and the men and women who have served and continue to serve in our military,” said Hay. “This award represents the progress that our nation has made in creating economic opportunity for our military veterans. It highlights the contributions and success of the Service-Disabled Veteran community in their continued service to the country in an economic capacity.”
LMT President & CEO, Lani Hay’s service to the country began at age 17 when she entered the Navy as a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy. Upon her release from active duty in 2002, she began the next phase of her life of service as an entrepreneur. She continues to serve the country through her company, Lanmark Technology Inc. (LMT) by providing Federal Government civilian agencies and defense agencies innovative products and professional service solutions.
